Our Review
Films are usually played out from the position of the under dog. It’s what makes a movie, the challenge, the expectance by everyone in the film that they will fail the amazing odds against the person even though they have not once failed so far.

She’s all that has a slightly different slant on it. It has the challenge, the worry odds but Zack Siler (Freddie Prince Junior) is king of the school, not exactly underdog material. Of course you can always take it on a wider level and see Laney as the underdog, but in that sense she doesn’t win.

So enough with these random patches of information. The plot is that Zack and Taylor Vaughan (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) who is queen of the school split up and Zack says that Taylor was nothing. After a disagreement over the issue Zack ends up betting that he could make any girl prom queen, Laney is soon picked out.

The movie is a classic teen romance despite its odd trip into the arts. On a scale it’s probably heading up towards the middle class styles, again falling back into the classic teen romance. That said, don’t like the age range put you off, it’s a great romance for any age.

The acting is nothing to shout about but has enough quality in. For the select few of us it might even bring back painful memories from high school. That’s why we have suppression though, so we can watch these kinds of movies with comfort.

Realising I am a bit too positive I have to say the movie goes know where particularly knew, it’s the kind of storyline that is so generic you don’t even come up with it. However even though it’s a generic plot line it will still keep romantic comedy fans entertained for the duration.
